Tearing and Shreding Tees

I have this thing... I can't wear plain tee-shirts alone. Uniqlo is always giving us these tee-shirts with the new season's promotion. This spring it's all about selling jeans, UJ (Uniqlo Jeans) I just hate crew neck shirts, I feel like I'm suffocating.

I made this for my friend, she entrusted me with her shirt to be ripped and sexy. I was inspired by t-shirts that had these cool knits on it. Its poorly made, but the point it trying to be unique :D

Ignore the mess in my house, i havent found time to clean up my stuff.
Haha i had to upload these pictures, because my cat knew I was whoring. He decided to join me. :D

VMER100- Display Case

I like my Visual Merchandising class, I'm only in the beginning, but I do enjoy making displays. I'm just not a visual merchandiser though.

Music Display: Tape is old,

Inspiration: I love the color pink and I had this wig laying around the house. I also though about tape strings and how much fun they were to be all over the place.

Cosmetic Display: Smashbox eyeshadow kit

Inspirations: I was going for a theatrical element. I wanted it to be white and glamorous at the same time. I made the mask back in high school and i just worked around it.

+J Black and white

At first I thought Stephen was weird, because he asked me to be a model in his photo shoot. I didn't know Stephen before the shoot. I just found out his was an associate in Uniqlo, in the denim section. He's a cool dude, def love his photography and where he's going with it. Anyway, here is the one picture that came out great. Haha the only picture where I look serious and cool. I'm a bit of a narcissist, but I still have a big heart. I love my cat to death, I would rather run around the forest with the animals than work.

Here is an outfit from +J week at Uniqlo, we all had to wear black, BOOOHOOO it was like a funeral.

1. Express one shoulder top ($10)
2. American Apparel black hot disco pants (Birthday Present)

Thrifting experience 1

I realized i havent uploaded pics or a blog for the longest time. So this is a multiple session of blogs in one day..

Where to start? Well on February 27th, me and my friends (Katlin and Luey) went on a thrifting adventure in Housing Work Ware House. There were so many pile of clothes since it was their warehouse. At first we were were baffled as to what we were suppose to do. Never had we seen so many people, rummaging in clothes and stuffing it in black plastic bags. After 15 minutes of uncertainty, we loosed up and dug right into the pile of clothes. We found a lot of designer stuff, vintage items and etc.

Break down of the event was, basically stuff what ever you can into a brown bag for $20! YES 20 DOLLARS!

Happy survivors. The two bags on the left are mine.

Strategy:
1. Find a big bag / bring your own big bag.
2. (wearing gloves) JUMP INTO THE PILE OF CLOTHES AND DIGGGG
3. Stuff into big bag
4. After digging & stuffing, sort out the items you like.
5. Perfect fold everything down.
6. Stuff into the paper bag.
7. Walk out happily.
